Dr Eric Zhao Acupuncture & Herbal Clinic is the premier, full scale acupuncture and herbal medicine clinic. All services are provided by New Mexico State Licensed and National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) certified acupuncturists and herbalists. Dr Zhao and Dr Yu hold medical degrees in Traditional Chinese Medicine, with over combined 50 years of experience in acupuncture, herbal medicine, and western medicine. Eric Zhao

Dr. Zhao graduated from Traditional Chinese Medical College of Henan Province in 1985 with a Masters degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. He then practiced in Cancer Tumor Hospital of Luo Yang City for 8 years.  In 1992, Dr.Zhao went to Sudan on a medical expedition as a medical expert for two years. During his time in Sudan, he provided healthcare services to the general public and the Sudan military.   

In 1996, Dr. Zhao came to the United States to teach at International Institute of Chinese Medicine as a professor and clinical supervisor for 7 years.         

In 1997, Dr. Zhao received his National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) with diplomas in Herbology and Acupuncture. Dr. Zhao serves on the New Mexico License Board of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine as a state examiner. Dr. Zhao became a member of International Who's Who of Entrepreneurs organization in 2001. 

Dr. Zhao is a knowledgable and patient doctor who takes care of each patient with his utmost attention. Besides acupuncture and herbal remedies, Dr. Zhao also specializes in nutrition, Feng Shui, Chinese astrology, and energy work.

Shui-Lian Yu

Dr. Yu graduated with a medical degree in 1985 from Traditional Chinese Medical College of Henan Province. She practiced at Chinese Medical Hospital in Luo Yang, China as a gynecology and surgical doctor for over 12 years.  In 1996, Dr. Yu became a Tai Chi master of Henan province, and competed in national Tai Chi competitions.

After coming to the United States in 1997, Dr.Yu received her National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) with diplomas in Herblogy and Acupuncture. 

Dr. Yu taught and supervised student clinical work at International Insititute of Chinese Medicine (IICM) and Southwest Acupuncture school in Albuquerque, NM for 5 years. She taught classes in Tui-Na, surgical classes, gynecology, Chinese herbal medicine, and etc. 

Dr. Yu is a gentle and compassionate doctor who is sensitive and empathetic to her patients. She is kind and hospitable, while serious about the wellbeing of those around her.
